Staples just released some new coupons, which should make your back to school purchases a better deal! The following coupons are valid from 7/28-7/31…

Save 20% off one item, excluding computers
The instructions on this coupon to the cashier say ‘Scan any other coupons being applied to this purchase and then scan this 20% off coupon.’ You should be able to apply another coupon to your transaction in addition to the 20% off coupon. The 20% discount will apply to the highest priced item in the transaction.

Save an extra $75 on any laptop
Excludes netbooks and desktop computers.

15% off your in-store purchase
Excludes netbooks and desktop computers, cell phones and cell phone services, BOSE or Apple products, gift cards, postage stamps or phone cards.

Staples has the Scotch brand 3 pack of mailing and storage tape on sale for $6 (regularly $12.99)! You can use the $3/1 PDF coupon and pay only $3, which makes each tape $0.99…but it gets even sweeter when you combine this deal with the $5 off $25 Staples coupon!

Deal Scenario:
Buy one 3 pack of Scotch Brand mailing and storage tape, $6
Buy 2 Staples Photo Plus 4? x 6? Paper, $9.99 each
Total: $25.98
Use the $5 off $25 Staples coupon
Use the $3/1 Scotch coupon
Pay $17.98
Submit for 2 Photo Paper $9.74 Easy Rebates
Final cost: all the above FREE + a $1.50 moneymaker!

Note: The $5 off $25 coupon says in the fine print “Minimum purchase requirement of $25 must be met with purchases to which no other coupon or instant savings offer applies.” I take this as meaning additional in-store coupons can’t be used with this coupon, so you should be fine with using a manufacturer’s coupon.
